Unfortunately there is no scuba diving available in the waters surrounding Hua Hin. The bottom is a mixture of sand and silt and water visibility is around 1-2 meters. You could try scuba diving in Hua Hin but there isnt much do see apart from the odd stingray.

The closest location to Hua Hin where you can dive is Koh Talu (2 hours drive) off the coast of Bang Saphan however this only really consists of a couple of shallow coral reefs. Further south are the islands of Koh Ngam Yai and Noi off the coast of Chumphon. The marine life, coral and visibility is much better here. For those who are new to diving you can't beat the premier spot in the country for learning to dive: Koh Tao
