The Hua Hin Jazz Festival 2007 was held on the 8th and 9th June 2007. Main stage at the Sofitel beach.

The jazz festival was a scaled down affair this year with only one main stage at the Sofitel and two nights as opposed to three in previous years. The talent however was just as impressive with great duets by Ben Charatit and Mariam Alcalali on friday followed by Montefiori Cocktail who simply had the place jumping to finish off a great evenings entertainment. There were a few problems with the incoming tides but people only got wet by choice!

Saturday started off with some mellow afternoon jazz on a fine day on the beach. A floating Heneken Sea Bar provided an excellent vantage point to view the stage. As the evening progressed the crowds got larger as more people headed for the beach. With the single stage it proved difficult to get around as everyone was crammed into the same place, also the provision of only one toilet at the other end of the beach was far from adequate. Sadly the HHAD team did not stay for the final act of the evening due to excessive overcrowding but we did see Prode Tanapat who can only be described as the "Steve Vai of Thailand" - a truly awesome guitarist.
