HHDRC are currently talking with Stella (the owner of Monsoon Restaurants & furniture) about a fundraising evening late September. This lovely lady has helped us in the past & is coming through for us again.
Anyway, the evening would be a much more sophisticated event than any we have held before, possibly including an auction as well.
I'm not asking anyone to buy tickets or commit (yet!! ) What I want to know is your opinion on pricing. Do you think our idea is fair or not?
The price will include:
a welcome cocktail, canapes, a meal (I think 3-course) & live music, as well as being able to bid in the auction. The food will be high quality, as will the whole evening. A very large proportion of the ticket price will go to HHDRC (band, publicity etc need to be deducted)
Our initial price would be 1,500 baht per ticket. Tickets would be available in bulk (tables of 10) where a discount would be available.
I'd welcome as much feedback as possible. What do you think? Honesty would be very welcome.
(Mods, if this is advertising & needs to go, can you pm me & we'll try & work out a better way of me researching this? Thanks ) _________________ "The question is not, can they reason? Nor, can they talk? But, can they suffer?" - Jeremy Bentham, philosopher, 1748-1832
