Beware and stay indoor Pete:

Thaksin leaves for Pattaya

Caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his family left for Pattaya for a weekend holiday.

Thaksin, his wife and three children left their Charansanitwong resident in their vehicle at 11:20 am.

Thaksin waved to reporters, smilingly.

He is scheduled to return to Bangkok on Monday.

They may be staying down at the Ambassador City complex, South of Jomtien. Rumored that he owns that entire place now (5,000 + rooms), awaiting appropriate licenses to turn it into Thailands first cassino. Pete
