TTM no need to install Cable.

Latest news I have is that the games will be shown on Cable. Numbers 3, 5 ,7,9, 11 & ITV. These channels are also on my UBC programme, (and hopefully everyone elses) numbers 1 to 6 in the same order as above. England section games scheduled for Cable 7 (UBC 3) and Cable 9 (UBC 4). Would stress this is current situation!!

Don't know about sound as hearing so many different reports.

Truly can’t see what all the fuss is about, 22 blokes kicking a bag of air about for 90 minutes, falling over if some body goes within one foot of them, spitting for the camera, crying at the drop of a hat, kissing each other and being seriously overpaid for it, surely watching paint dry would be a more interesting way to pass 90 minutes of the day, unless you like that sort of thing Rolling Eyes

Over the past 10 years, Andy Gray has revolutionised how the viewer watches football. He scrutinises every goal, every mistake and every piece of skill of the weekend. Andy has brought a new dimension to commentating and is widely recognised as a leading football expert.

Alan Hanson has a big scar over his forehead which makes it difficult to concentrate on what he is saying. I also dated a girl he dated which makes it worse.

I can not distinguish between Mark Lawrenson and the puppet on spitting image.

I will see if i can find an England shirt for you free of charge. Cheers

There is something a bit special about the world cup, watching a game with the lads with a pint is great fun.The question is are England gonna drive is crazy by playin one great half then sitting back and playin defensively like they always seem to.

Olmate, I looked on Asia Pacific and could see nothing.
If you are going to indo (Bali), you will have no problem. The last time England beat Germany 5-1 a couple of years ago, people were booking trips to Bali for the weekend, because the games were not shown here in Perth. so can see no reason why you will not be able to see the games.
Cheers Cheers

With this issue and other UBC things, it would be great to be able to send them a statistic as to what percentage of expats are subscribers, in relation to the overall UBC subscriber-ship? You can't use simply math. You have to average the total Thailand expat community against the total population of Thailand, then, do some kind of weighted average of subscribers.

I think this would open many Thai eyes in the Gov if this sort of thing was done with many issues here concerning expats. Pete

This is the response i recieved from abc asia pacific-

I am afraid that we do not have the broadcast rights to the World Cup games as the cost of the rights is far too prohibitive for us. Individual countries would own rights to the games, rather than a channel which covers the whole region in the way we do.

Sounds fair enough to me. So for some i guess we may have to listen to foriegn commentry.
Cheers
