Work On The Beach

I have just received a letter from my travel agent saying that the authorities are digging up the beach.

Can anybody tell me what this actually looks like. Is it really noisy, looks terrible.

Whats going on !?!?

First I've heard of it, was there the other day ... looks the same to me. Where do they get their news from?

The tone of the letter was that the Evason were covering their behinds just in case of any future claims against them.

The Evason is around 30km south of Hua Hin. The beach there is a little erroded compared to that in town but as far as I'm aware there's no 'work' being done on it.

What was in the letter? I work at Evason so can find out exactly what the crack is. They're building some new Pool Villas on a piece of land adjacent to the resort but nothings being done to the beach as far as I know.

To be fair it was a letter from the travel company and it was not very specific, but they talked about diggers, noise, interruption etc.

Just as a side note how much is a cab from the Evason in central Hua Hin at nightime.

No diggers there today.

Evason run a guest shuttle bus for 100 baht into town.
A taxi back at night should cost no more than 300 baht.
When are you arriving there?
