Can't help you with the Thai family, but have known Donny for years.
Yes, he had The All Nations and ran it very successfully. Split up with Jaol (sic) a number of years ago. They had opened a new bar called Little Big Horn in the bazaar with Aussie Doug and his wife. That has since closed and become part of The Mai Thai.
I havn't seen Donny for about two/three years. That's not to say that he dosn't visit HH occasionally, but I'm certain he dosn't live here any more. Your best bet is to ask Jaol who now has a bar in the bazaar.
I notice from another thread that you were mistaking him for Duncan who recently passed away. Not the same people. |

Peter, Kay
Last sighting of Donny in Cha-Am, Hua Hin was late November last year.
Donny is working in Australia mining I think with his new wife Tuk.
He still has the shop house in Cha-am on Soi Long Beach directly opposite the Long Beach Hotel. He should be back for a visit to Cha-Am later this year but long term .... putting money in the bank in NZ or Oz.
The likeliest people who would know of his where abouts and contacts would be the long term Kiwis based in Cha-Am or HH.
Sadly Duncan - is no longer around. |

Thx for that LM, I thought maybe P&K were referring to Kiwi Don but wasn't sure. I remember the long horn. Especially the decent BBQ they had going for a bit in '99 (arroy!) I had no idea Donny also had the A.N. for a time. Seems to me, a book about the 'family tree' of the A.N. would make a rather interesting read. What ever became of Aussie Doug? I used to enjoy chewing the fat with him now and then.
-Shadow, thx for the update on Donny. Glad to hear he's still visiting and doin' ok in Oz. I thought he was working rigs offshore (?) or was that in fact Doug? |

Aussie Doug was the driller offshore and he's currently in Taiwan drilling oil wells.
Should be back in Thailand in the next month or so. His wife has a food supplying business in Chonburi so when he's back he spends a lot of time over there. |
