I'm looking to take the trouble and strife(Thai) to Japan at some point,probably via HH. I was wondering if anybody else has attempted anything so foolhardy and if so what did it involve?
I was watching BBC 24 yesterday and there was an interesting article on the possible relaxation of visa requirements in SE Asia i.e. One visa for all ASAEN countries, but would this also apply to Thai nationals?
Anybody else the wiser? Confused

There's been talk of one visa for Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam for a long time. Nothing's come of it.
I havn't seen the news about Japan but, quite honestly, I wouldn't hold your breath.
Still is there any reason why your wife shouldn't apply for a Japanese visa as any other person might have to do, if it turns out to be a red herring?
