Matt Lavender - famous for being a founder of Surf fm along with Dr Dave is leaving Hua Hin for a new job. We will have a private party open to everyone (contradiction i know) at Avenue 88 in Bon Gai starting at around 6pm tomorrow night. Its really easy to find - over the railway line, bear right and keep going around 1.5 km, the resort is on the left hand side just after the school. Call me on 0878211077 for any more information.
The Stone Band will be playing from around 6.30pm.
Bring your swimming gear cause theres a huge pool on site!!

Do not mean to spoil your party, but is this a good idea with the alcohol ban this weekend?

Its a private party (open to friends etc), in a private resort. Many such parties will be going on this weekend.

Don't think I'll be able to make it tomorrow night (I'll really try) but I would like to wish Matt all the best. It was a pleasure working with him.
Its a really sad and scary thought, but I appear to be the only Surf FM DJ left in Hua Hin. What happy times we all had every night, starting in that little room up in the mountains about 3 years ago, and then moving to our large new premises with so many rooms you could lose a goat. I had a great time as I'm sure did the others. Thank god for happy memories.... Christ where's that Nick Drake track, I feel a great sadness descending.... Crying or Very sad
