Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin, on behalf of Hua Hin Hotelier’s Club, has cooperated with the Vintage Car Club of Thailand, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and Hua Hin City Municipality to hold the Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade 2009 on December 18-20, 2009.

A 50-vintage car procession will be paraded from Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok on Friday morning (18th) and will drive by King Rama II Park, in Samut Songkram Province before lunch and some tourist attractions in Phetchaburi. The parade will arrive in Hua Hin for the official ceremony in the evening.

The rally will be on the move around Hua Hin throughout the Saturday and will be based at the Sofitel.

I had a wander around the cars in the Sofitel this afternoon and it's worth a look if you're into old cars.
There is an absolutely immaculate Mercedes 300SL that must be worth a small fortune and quite a few old Engish classics, MG's,Jaguars and Austins along with some rarer stuff.

Unfortunately I was down town for something else and just wandered in, so I didn't have a camera with me which was a pity as it would have made some good pictures with the cars in the Sofitel gardens.
