Wouldn't waste time on him gents. Throwing mud like that when nobody mentioned women anyhow only leads to the conclusion that he's a troll, a deluded and privileged one at that.

“I don't think you would be so dismissive if you had to work in a hotel or at a resort, but hey, you wouldn't have the education to think/question about it then, would you?”

You are totally wrong… , now Thailand is more focus to screen good foreigners, try to bringing out bad foreigners who use Thailand to hide- then cause you in trouble of more strict policys and regulations…

“Spitfire”- Wake up man, we are all know that about the imagination of an end to the racism and discrimination…, all of us, you, I and everyone hope the same, but look!! l at to the real world!!, such as men and women, young and old, black and white, i ask you back do you think you educated enough to know the present situation!! “Buksida” with my respect, please read properly to those foreigners posts all above not only me to blame!! about insulting…. if someone else not insulting me first, then I wouldn’t talk like him back—---Listen!! I learn bad language from all of you!! ---open your eyes wide, don’t shut!!---check on it man! Wake up!! Or you think you scare to touch your foreigners---then let them insults, you have never seen them.

It’s pathetic! This sentence I learn from some of you as well!!

If you read my post carefully and properly, you will see that I don’t tell who… educate or uneducated. I didn’t insult anyone!! I am just ask “Spitfire” not to judge other with the same standard of his wife!!..

And when I talk about bar girl….., I am very very admire (soooooo admire—mean admire so much) to their “patient”….. which I am unable to be like that back to grumpy old man.. Their patient is absolutely very high.

Have a look at….. “Spitfire” said….

“I don't think you read my post properly, sorry if it is too difficult to understand, as you would need a dictionary to understand it regardless of how capable you think you are in English not even close to understanding my response…”

You are such annoy and insult person to other. Shame on you.

Hey, you are all know… I am Thai-Chinese, English is not my mother and father tongue… I can’t use English like Spitfire to look down and insult on someone!!... and too shame someone who are moderator use same good English but can’s see…

“Kendo” I did not mean you—of course bad foreigners can cause other foreigners like bad apple…
You know what, when you mention…

“why is this....
Thailand makes it so hard to have a life here….”

It is not only Thailand that try to make it so hard to have a life there… cause some of you- foreigners, are using Thailand to hide after they escape from their country after criminal things, , bad biz, drugs, against legal and laws and so on…

I believe, this is the reason why you have to do “visa run” and show up at the immigration time to time… As some or your foreigners do bad things both in and outside Thailand, causing government to issue more tough regulation for the whole bunch foreigners….then need to see and grab them in a certain period of time. To make good foreigners stay clean from that mafia.

Like some of foreigners perform a company-fake one in order to own the land---and government know!! …….

Don’t ask me more… do ask the immigration don’t just think and complain!… If whatever you think it is not right, do get back to what I suggest at the first post in this forum…send Letter to their president of that department to ask or whatsoever.

To all…., Read my first post of this forum, and keep in mind by telling people who concern, let them know what is going on, what is the problem of yours- your suggestion is….. Do it if you want a lovely Thailand, be patient to help to change whatever you think it should be change not just complain in here!! Doesn’t work!! No one from the government will help you from your complain in here, they need paper as the evident to change.

“Takiap”-Listen!! I didn’t say “all” Farang marry bar girls, just… most or some… of you are ….. and not my business of course I don’t want to know… also like spitfire said he educate young thai people, I don’t want to know how… don’t tell me… I don’t want to know.

“Takiap”-- Who did you call to “Mr. Thailand Perfect”, I have never said Thailand is perfect!!, we all know no one is perfect!! Even you or me and no matter who are reading here are not perfect except you won’t accept it.. ( always spend time dreaming and complaining)

“Takiap”—after you bubbling instead of your child, open your eyes!! Of course your kids have choice to choose where to stay or where to study ….. but they can’t choose their father !! Some of their father keep saying and complaining Thailand is bad system, bad people, bad government, bad farang mafia, bad bad bad ….bra bra… and doing nothing? Those child have to listen those bad thinking from their father, pls send them abroad to their father’s country if they think Thailand is bad , please don’t stay…. Don’t complain, while doing nothing to get their staying place better and also have never left Thailand to their own countries only complain!! If you want this society, this country beautiful, you have to help too, not just complain….gentleman!!!

All right, gentlemen!! Once again, don’t tell me your problems, if you have problem or bitter feeling about Thai office go back to read my first post at this forum!! Or have a look at the forum of “Thai girlfriend back to UK” Let’s check how easy to get visa and stay in UK…

And if you have chance or experience to ask for visa at US Embassy, … I also have to bring my son and daughter from school to US embassy. You might not understand why Thai Embassy officer or The Thai immigration have to ask varieties questions that you feel that it Is not concerned but….may be only you!! Who think it is not concern or unreasonable!! Just apply for USA visa, then you will understand

To remind all again…., Read my first post of this forum, and keep in mind by telling people who concern in that department, let them know what is going on, what is the problem of yours- your suggestion is….. Do it if you want a lovely Thailand, be patient to help to change whatever you think it should be change not just complain in here!! Doesn’t work!! No one from the government will help you from your complain in here, they need paper as the evident to change.

Also, i believe, in the future, Thailand have to perform an INTERNATION PRACTICE like GB, USA, Japan, not just issue visa upon arrival to foreigners. Wait and see, don't die.

Who do you complain to if the person at the top of the food chain is initiating the 'fines'?

On the plus side, I was surprised to be handed a 'customer survey' form at Immigration last week and one of the questions was "Were you asked for any money?" Besides the normal fee, I wasn't.

Immigration were efficient, I waited barely 10 minutes to be attended to and it was all very polite. Only once in 5 years have I had to pay a fine and I deserved it.

I was hit with two seat belt fines in a month in Portugal by the traffic police before I came to Thailand and fined 120 Euros each time. The UK Embassy charged me 2000+ thb for ONE form letter. Now that's robbery! Give me Thailand and the 200 thb police fines any day of the week.

I sympathize with those who have had bad experiences and count myself very lucky, so far. A bad encounter can ruin one's whole perception of Thailand.

I have been scammed a couple of times in LOS.

Not by Thais but by foreigners. :tsk:

Yes, this is a good country if you live here by the rules. Just think about all the crap in our own country. Good and bad everywhere. I had 3 phones stolen from my house, a month later the police found them and the culprit; they were returned , one was worth about 400 quid.

Ok it may have laws that we don't like but so are the laws back home. speeding 34mph in 30 zone 60 quid + points, money making rackets etc etc. Racist police force etc etc

Whilst I don't live in Thailand at the moment, I couldn't agree more with the sentiment JG. I live in South-West China, as I have done so for the past 10 years and with all due respect I'd far rather be in HH!! That aside, wherever you live or simply visit as a ''foreigner'' - respect the county and it's laws. As a kid I was brought up in Zambia and South Africa.... my father stated on numerous occassions re: SA - a wonderful country, but a ''Police State''... still a wonderful country if you stay on the side of the law.

This is something that sticks with me, and is very true with regards to China... I'm sure also, true with regards to LOS in respect to staying on the ''right side''.

We are visitors, and should respect the people, customs and laws...... however bl**dy frustrating they are at times :banghead: :D :banghead: :D :cuss: :cuss: :D
