Can anyone advise on the best way to travel between Krabi and Hua Hin?

Probably best to travel to Hat Yai station from Krabbi by 10 seat VW bus in late afternoon,for maybe a couple of hundred Baht, then take 2nd class aircon sleeper to Hua hin which gets in around 6am.Breakfast at Euro guesthouse/bakery and the whole day is ahead of you.I did it a couple of times and enjoyed it and it was cheap.

Another way is to take the night train to Trang. You'll arrive there in the morning and can then take a air-con bus from Trang to Krabi. Or if you coming to HH from Krabi then do it vice-verse, first the bus to Trang and then the night train to HH.

Thanks for the advice. Will be out to HH in October. Will be travelling to Krabi. Any idease what can be expected weatherwise?
