| as this will be my first visit to hua hin, what is the easiest way to get there from the airport in bkk, are there regular flights down, or is a taxi a better idea. do some of the guest houses offer a pick up service. |

lots of threads about this on here if you search hard enough
but for 2.5k you can get a taxi booked through one the sponsored motor links in this site. If you're knackered after the flight from hell from Farangland, it's nice to just to fall into a booked taxi and not worry about anything 'til you get there.
if you're more adventurous there's plenty of other options... _________________ ดวงขึ้น

I picked a leaflet up today regarding flight details from BKK to HH.
Departures from BKK are at 10.45/ 14.15/ 17.15. Price 2,950 one way. Airline SGA. Flight time "35 mins" according to the blurb.
Alternatively, as Jim says, there are loads of other ways to get here including taxi, bus or train. _________________ "I spent a lot of my money on booze, birds and fast cars - the rest I just squandered". George Best. |

The last time I flew into Don Muang just jumped into a meter taxi and it cam to 1500 baht. Cant see it being much more now. Going from HH to BKK a few months ago 1600 baht from near Burger king. _________________ IF YOU CAN'T DIVE! RIDE! |

| If you fail to make any plans, you can stop just about any taxi outside the airport and they will drive you to Hua Hin for 2500 bt, this is the standard fare for the major taxi company’s. Just ignore all those touts and make sure that the car looks new enough to make the journey and from my experience the green and yellow one’s are no good; get a blue one or even one of those gay looking metallic pink one’s! I’m not being fussy on colours; it’s just that these companies seem to be more reliable. |
