Barry
We came on the fishing trip the other week
I have to comment that it was excellent value for money and we had a fantastic evening, your staff were great and did everything to make sure that fun was had. The ship is fantastic loads of space and the art work is brilliant.
Keep up the good work and good luck _________________ Check your canopy it’s a long way down |

Did you catch anything?
I've been out a couple of times in the past with local fishermen and got hooked into stingrays which were impossible to get off the bottom with our tackle. Other than that, only fish of 1kg or less.
I'd be interested if there are places to have the chance of getting into something about 5-10 kg. |

If you're interested in serious sea fishing, we could organise a special trip on Mermaid Cruises 70 ft. sea-going vessel, the Peacock.
According to my experienced Thai skipper, the bigger fish are about
3 - 3 1/2 hours offshore east of Khao Sam Roi Yod.
He suggests that such a trip leave at around 5 p.m. and spend the night on the boat, partying or sleeping (we have 2 double cabins on the upper deck and 2 sofa beds in the lounge) or (squid) fishing.
The best time to go after the big fish is around 5-6 a.m.
The fish thet can be expected at that time are:
brownstripe red snapper - 1 1/2 - 2 kg
bleeker's grouper - 1/2 - 2 kg
painted sweetlip - 1/2 - 5 kg
narrow-barred Spanish mackerel - 3 - 13 kg
starry emperor - 1/2 - 1 kg
bigeye snapper - 1/2 - 5 kg
The return time can be agreed during the trip.
So we're looking at a trip of up to around 24 hours.
If anybody's interested pleas get in touch:
