As a neutral observer I have to say Arsenal were very unlucky against Liverpool in the CL playing better football. Ditto against Man Utd.

as a not so neutral, i have to agree with you 100% jockey thumbs up Very Happy

a better than expected season for us gooners.
but for a bad run of injuries & some pretty dodgy decisions, it could have been a lot better thumbs up

The luck was on ManU's side yesterday. Arsenal played very well.

It could be their season.

When the season started, nobody but nobody gave Arsenal a chance to be in the top four. Considering that, it was not a bad season, although I still have a bitter taste in my mouth.

Carlos Tevez' 88th minute header rescued a point for Manchester United against Blackburn.United dominated for long periods but found Rovers keeper,Brad Freidel,in outstanding form.
But an important point for United who are three points, and a better goal difference, than Chelsea who they play next weekend.
The Chelsea clash is sandwiched in between two Champions League semi-final clashes against Barcelona......exciting times !

In the Championship its beginning to look as though West Brom will claim one of the automatic places......Hull,Bristol City and Watford lose....beginning to look good for Palace for the final play off spot.

Of course Palace and Hull play each other next weekend, then Palace play Burnley, down to the wire I think.

Palace have got points in hand only need a win and a draw to guarantee playoffs 1 win may be enough.

I see Zidane only gives us his match reports when the result goes Uniteds way. Mr. Green

United were as gracious in defeat as ever against Chelsea, as they were against Portsmouth, Bolton and any other time they've lost this season.

I also see its fine for United to again harrass officials after Mascheranos shameful shrugging of shoulders and laughing in disbelief incident and Torres disgracefully asking the ref why United were aloud to kick him all over the pitch.

i agree baa baa thumbs up
the post match interviews of late are getting more embarrassing, especially when it involves carlos queerass, the whingeometer went off the scale on saturday Shocked

chelsea were the better side over the 90 mins, the penalty was no different to that conceded by gallas a few weeks earlier.
fergie's team selections have to be questioned in the last couple of games too Confused
the manx are still clear favourites though & their destiny is in their own hands.

BaaBaa,
I'm sorry,I didnt realise my match reports were so eagerly anticipated Razz

My views on the game, albeit a bit late....

I thought Chelsea were the better team over 90 minutes although, after Carvalhos appalling error I thought United might nick it.
I thought the penalty decision was harsh, particularily so near to the end of the match, but you have to take these things on the chin and focus on the next match which is.....Barcelona 2nd leg semi final Champions League, kick off 1.45am Thai time.
I'll try to get my match report for this in early tomorrow but if its late,I apologise, because we are travelling to Bangkok and with the footie finishing at 3.30am I could well be a little tired!

But rest assured I'll also get in a report of Chelsea v Liverpool and it could well be that the top two teams in the Premiership will be contesting the final in Moscow Very Happy
