The shed guesthouse...

Does anyone know the whereabouts of Rod Sears that used to have 'The shed guesthouse' ? We worked together many years ago and met up two or three years ago. I was in Hua Hin during late January and I was told he had moved across the bay and opened another guest house called (funnily enough) The shed... Rolling Eyes

The last time i seen Rod he was heading back to the Uk wit wife and baby and going to work on the railways in the london area.

Rod Sears was a previous owner from a few years back. Nice guy but sure that he went back to work in England.

I spoke to Rod about 3 years ago when I first went to Hua Hin when he was having the alterations done to the place.
Next year when I went back he had just got out of the place.

The guy that may be able to help you is the Aussie guy that used to own the bar that is now Lolitas (Old name was Goanna's)

He took on the shop that was next door to the Shed after he left the bar and I think was in contact with Rod for a while after he left the Shed.

I cannot for the llife of me remember what the guy who used to run Goanna's name is, but he used to post here under the name of Perente

Look up some of his old posts and send him a PM, he may be able to help you.

Now that that's cleared up; Rod Sears went back to England when he sold the shed, wanted to bring his new baby up in a "better" environment.
Rod from Goannas / Lolitas / the shop next door / "the place over there" is still here.

Thanks to you all for your help, last time I spoke to Rod he told me he was returning to the U.K. but when I was in Hua Hin in January someone told me he had moved to Patayya. Cheers
