No Angle -
It has just become noticeable in the last few months that more and more negative postings are appearing about Thailand (not necessarily Hua Hin specific).
I note that mentions of the elections in the New Year have been made. I have long since given up trying to understand Eastern (Asian) ways of thinking.
I think it was Bangcockney who advised in an earlier post "Throw away your Christian head" (or similar words) when commenting on the bargirl scene.
Perhaps this is good advice when considering all matters

In my first month in Thailand in 1999 the front page of the BP was full of
a story about a gang using dodgy cabs to kidnap newly arrived tourists...where they then drove them to a remote part of BKK and robbed them..only problem was instead tying them up or just leaving them stranded they SHOT them dead !!! i remember one guy being a very young Austrian backpakcer on the first stop of his round the world journey.
later that month i was riding my moped from Sport Villa into town and saw a commotion by Satukarn square....apparently, moments earlier a local had spotted an enemy also on a moped, grabbed his gun and just let go all over the place....
again the only problem was he hit everything bar the enemy including 2 German tourists.....
point being TIT/TIAT and always will be................ _________________ *** WE HATE PALACE *** |
