Hi,
Thank you for the response JD. We will try that. Also, would any one know of a hotel in the Khao Takiab area that would allow non guest to swim in their pool. I wouldn't mind paying. We will be here 6 months so it would be nice to have something set up.
Thanks,

Not really Khao Takiab but not too far from there: the pool at Sport Villa would be an option. Nice pool, good restaurant. Entrance fee 40 Baht for the day. _________________ We are all living in 'the good old days' of the future. |

| I think PP Villa lets you use the pool for a small fee. |

| If you have transport, the hotel at the far end of the military beach at Suan Som has a reasonable pool that you can use as well. I forget the exact cost, but it was something like 40 bt. |

The Takiap hotel allows you to use the pool at no cost but they do hope that you will order food or drinks while there. Also, the Anatisila (spelling?) on Takiap beach has an awesome pool and charge 50 baht which gets you a towel and use of the sun lounges. The food and drinks are also not that expensive and the setting is really good. _________________ Don't try to impress me with your manner of dress cos a monkey himself is a monkey no less - cold fact |

Thats great info Takiap. We live just around the corner from the Anantasila. Very handy.
