I am sure that everyone has heard all of the usual arguments for and agains the non-smoking thing but the fact still is that the law of this country like most European ones and much of the US now is for no smoking in public places.

I have no deal against the smokers but as a non-smoker I am so happy to not feel sick at times like before when eating and drinking because the other people smoke.

This is the law and can some people say if it is being enforced in Hua Hin because the big problem for respoect of the country is ehn they make the laws and then the police do not enforce them....

Any feedback about this and no offence to the non smokers of course - we just all need our spaces in public.

Very true. I have experienced the same in Bangkok. In some places this specific law is enforced and in other places it is not. Go figure...

I am just back from Hua Hin. As far as i have noticed there are only 2 bars at the moment where you can't smoke, both of them airconditioned.
