Its all very well comparing wives' villages but has anyone given any consideration to the South (where my Thai family is from)? They are Thais too and deserve the same rights as the vote base in the northeast.

Hence the great division.

Yes been out a few times. Sure it's work, talk, eat, sleep but then that is a rotary thing and they are then back to work and then a 'Thai' break again

Think this thread is slightly off course Mods

Buksi I agree but I know little about Thais from the south. Even in Issan there seems to be a regional divide and ignorance about other parts of Thailand. Even in Isaan KK consider Buriram to be alien. Bit like the UK 50 years ago. Yorkshire vs Lancashire, North vs South

Answers to others:

Jockey - Im glad I made you smile mate.....like Bill Hicks I believe in saying things in a forward manner...even if it makes people laugh Wink

And in Answer.....yes Mr T is a f*ing coward....whether you are present or not....he could have come home to face the music....no he hid like a capitalist coward that he is and cried to mummy bout his life being under threat.....really Mr T?....I dont think so.

You just know you are a lying greedy tosser who got so arrogant he didn't cover his tracks eh?????

He, like his protoges, are lying thieving tossers who give sod all consideration to their homeland other than the black bucks they can shive from the populace via "public works overspends" and back door land deals.....Real proper thieves like Lenny The Cat had some stamp of decency....these w*kers dont even try to cover up their cons.

I read a lot of history and to me this seems like The Roman Repubic (70s to 60s BC)..... a few industrial money men calling the shots and conning an "uneducated" nationalist underclass into supporting them.

Mrs S's village didnt go TRT in the polls in the last big election.....somehow enough seem to have gone for the opposition party candidate and swung the "village" vote. Result - TRT district overlords do NOT build any support for the villages that were seen to vote opposition...like Mrs S's village.

Overall result....now the whole village votes blok for TRT, sorry PPP.

Jam today or jam tomorrow?

I should say that I only comment as an observer....as a farang my views are irrelevant to where I live .... thank god. thumbs up
