For anyone that is interested it's being held at Dick's Office (formerly Exalon and still has the old sign outside) in Soi Sarawat (also known as Soi Hotpot) from 8pm. The organisers are Terry and Hugo, and this is the second one that they have done, and they are planning on making them a regular event, although they have to fit them in around the Formula 1 races that take place often at the same time. For those of you unfamiliar with pub quizes they are hugely popular in the UK and involve a series of questions, normally based on sports, music, current affairs, geography and general knowledge, and will normally be teams of 3 or 4 people competing against each other. They are good fun and help to keep the old grey matter active!

| I don't know for sure but I will ask the organisers on Sunday - however I think there is a Grand Prix that clashes on the Sunday that you are here. I will post again next week any other planned dates. |

Really enjoyed the Quiz night at Dicks Office (Exalon). Something new and different for Hua Hin.
Terry and Hugo did a great job organising it. Hope they succeed and it becomes a regular event. |

| I agree, Terry and Hugo are doing a good job. As far as I know the next one will be on Sunday 10th July, but this is still to be confirmed. There was a good crowd in last night so hopefully that will continue. |

| Just to let everyone know that the next pub quiz is on Sunday 17th July at 8pm, not 10th as assumed (it clashes with the British Grand Prix...and the cricket!). Dick's Office as always. |

I think to make it work they have to have it every 2 weeks regardless of F1, golf, football or cricket (yawn) if you keep moving it about people will loose intrest, if its every 2 weeks at the same time people will get used to comming.
Great job though, a very enjoyable evening indeed. _________________ Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly!

What about having an online pub quiz for those members overseas or the ones that cant make it to Dicks? _________________ I've got a bad feeling about this |

| Next quiz is on Sunday 7th August, a bit earlier at 7pm so that those who wish to can watch the Community Shield football afterwards at 10pm (Chelsea v Arsenal). |

| Sorry about the late notice but the next pub quiz is on Sunday 21st august at 7pm, Dick's office. I have been reliably informed that if you get there a bit earlier then there will be a Sunday Roast available too! |

Will be in Hua Hin next month and fancy some quiz action - but Dick's Office is not on the Nightlife map. Any more instructions on how to get there?
Cheers |

Yep, it's official. I am a pillock!
I was looking at the same map but the one I printed out had cut off the bars below Soi 80.
Many thanks Lev. Any idea when the quiz will be held in September?
All the best

I have to take my hat off to Kuhn Wanderlust. He had a serious uphill contest against seventeen Soi Bintaabart Bar girls, a Swedish barman and two Polish toilet attendants, and surpise surprise he still won.
Well done.
Sorry if I got the commas in the wrong place but I am a little bit p*&^ed now.
I look forward to interaction with you all tomorrow.
I love you all, and cats (only when they are on their best behaviour) and fish and birds and snakes and tigers.
Goodnight _________________
