| Excellent stuff Lev. You must have read the minds of the Observer team as next month's issue has something similar! (incidentally it went to press on the 17th so no accusations of plagiarism please!) |

Any Proof on this sentence below from the link and does this also come into practice if the company does very small trade and pays taxes?
"Any company where over 40% of the shareholding is foreign and the business of the company is land purchase would be investigated by the Central Land Office. This is to ensure that there has been no attempt to get around the ban on foreign ownership. Therefore you are in practice limited to 39%. With a restructured Articles of Association, the foreign shareholder can be the only director of the company and the only officer who can undertake contractual dealings on the company's behalf. This, in effect gives the foreign investor control over the company. " |

Sorry, but you weren't here as the house was being built? _________________ "I spent a lot of my money on booze, birds and fast cars - the rest I just squandered". George Best. |

Lomu, if you are buying a holiday home I would suggest that this is the norm - unless you can afford to take 6 months to a year off work! _________________ "The man who never made a mistake never did bugger all" - Old Welsh proverb

Jamie your right, I did visit a few times though during the build to check that the photos I was receiving were in fact of my house !!! (only joking) and enjoy the laid back atmosphere that makes the place, but sadly I am still having to do the daily grind in London. You guys that live there are so lucky.
Enviously yours |
