Jaime,
Come on, wake up and smell the coffee
Edwina now:
| Quote: | Having a holiday here or having a holiday home here are dramatically different to living here full time and then you cross another dimension again when you try to work here - that must be the toughest thing I have done
so much hypocrisy, intolerance and simple arrogance in this society
TV, mobile phones and alcohol seem to be the panacea to all evil
The same old unimaginative superior (I've been here longer than you and probably drank more than you) negative response.
No offence to anyone in particular here but I just find it more constructive on other forums where the moderation sets an example of tolerance and shows more respect to the posters |
Edwina 4 weeks ago when he first joined and gave the impression of being a Danish lady:
| Quote: | i read the news here for hus hin and i like the place here but i am worried if the property market is so bad about buy property now. maybe the other places in thailand are better safe?
I think te ferry woudl be very good as I like t go to the Koh Samed and Koh Chnang islands.
drive in the middle of the oad, canot run the corners, never look! I worry I will have an accident one daty and it will be my fault so I hear as I an the foreigner...
his is why the writer has to react to the thing that happened not just walk away I think...
I ma new to Hua HIn so can someone tell me where ther All in Hu Hin is so I can fidn the dentist? |
Notice the difference ?

Jaime,
You probably should read the other thread that edwinadanish started dealing with her personal issues and opinions of Thailand and the people that live here as well as those who use this forum. Nuff said? |

Super Joe, what the hell are you on about?
What is pompous about my observation exactly?
Where is the irony?
Please enlighten me.

I have neither the time nor inclination to investigate and dissect four week old posts!
I'm happy for you that you have the leisure time to do so! _________________ "The man who never made a mistake never did bugger all" - Old Welsh proverb

Sorry, I did 'read' your post but missed it as I simply scanned across it - whether Edwina is a troll or not is irrelevant to me and my indignation was more to do with what I took to be the contemptuous phrasing which you employed to illuminate me. Presumably because I don't share your opinion.
C'est la vie! (note to self - using French/Latin or other phrases could be considered as pompous)
My posts are more to do with the observations being put forward by Edwina and then dismissed. Troll or not - the points are still valid. _________________ "The man who never made a mistake never did bugger all" - Old Welsh proverb

Actually, it was a compliment on your sense of humour. Possibly misplaced. _________________ Never argue with a man carrying a water buffalo... |

Well whether a troll or not, and previous posts by the person, was part of the reason behind the tone of the responses that you could not understand.
But then that does not matter to you.

So why employ the same tone when addressing your first post to me in order to ram home your point? _________________ "The man who never made a mistake never did bugger all" - Old Welsh proverb
