Dr Surapong said the new government will first restore foreign investors’ confidence in the Thai economy, create a proper investment climate, lift the 30 per cent reserve requirement and improve laws in line with international standards

Although you could get around the 30% for a house purchase it is still a great deal for those of us soon to relocate. Shite, A Fortuner for me and a Camery for Mrs. Hound would take some suspicious cash transfers etc. I hope all that will wash out soon as I'm on the brink of the move!
