Hi Guys
I have always used a number in the UK to call Thailand that costs 7pence per minute to talk there are a lot of other numbers I have been given that vary from 4pence to 11pence. My question is are there any numbers that I can use in Thailand from Thailand to call the rest of the world _________________ Thats me Im on my way to luxury |

There's a huge price war going on between mobile phone companies at the moment, both internally and internationally.
For instance, I used the g/f's mobile to call the UK 2 weeks ago. DTAC phone. She bought a prepaid card from a 7-11 and it cost 8 Baht per minute to call the UK. 200 Baht card.
Instead of prefixing the UK with 001 44, you put 008 44 etc.
I've heard of others that are 6 Baht a minute.
Good value at the moment.
Not sure about land lines though. |

There is a card you can buy in 7-11, it's called PhoneNet, you call via a Bangkok number. Price to most European countries is 6 Baht.
Using Skype is offcourse even cheaper if you call a landline in USA, Europe, Australia or New Zealand, but then you need a steady internet connection... |

I think i mentioned it here before but skypes new no frills competition is voipbuster.com.
If you buy 5 euro credit you can ring landlines in uk, us and other developed world countries free. the credit is good for years just to make a paid phonecall to a mobile or whatever every 180 days. Cheaper rates to mobiles also.
Both good skype and voipbuster.
there is a slight delay about 700miliseconds so mention that to the person on other end so they know to finish their sentnce regardless.
Only for adsl users. |
