Hit and miss over may/june/ july .Visibility fluctuates as do swell and winds .Still much better than crawling around in a quarry in Europe in any case .

Normally december to may and august to october in the gulf .Andaman side december to may .I dived here for many years on an almost daily basis .The seasonal conditions are not set in stone .Dive in 30m vis and flat calm surface conditions one year on a certain day surrounded by huge schools of fish .Following year on the same day you are diving in pea soup .
On the gulf side you can be sure that there will be a period of rough weather and low vis in either nov/dec/jan at some point .Also around may/june/ july but less severe and shorter .
Personally.when diving for pleasure,I am as fascinated by the smallest nudibranch as I am by a 12m whale shark so vis does not bother me .Up until a broody trigger slams into the side of my mask when I am just about to take the best macro shot of the 21st century !!!
