|
|
Theres been a stink of heavy-oil down the Poonsuk/Bintabaat area
for a week now, does anyone know the cause of this??
One suggestion was the oil tank that feeds the burner at the 'Cremmo'
in the wat had ruptured.
Another was the local council had poured oil into the drains so it laid on the surface of the water and killed the mozzy larvae...?
Either way, the result of the rain/deluge the other night has left its mark
on every wall, motorcycle, plant pot/tub etc after the floods surpassed.
This 'tide-mark' is almost pure tar, and as yesterday was Sunday I did'nt
expect any clean-up to take place by the council etc, but where has the
bulk of this smelly crap gone??...do we have any dark-skinned bathers
today near the Hilton??
Who knows the origin of this oily mess? |

Someone should look at the beach and sea front where the pipes come out. Should be obvious there if oil. Pete _________________ "What America needs is a huge hypodermic needle of morality." Alice Cooper 21 Sept. 2007 |
