I´m arriving Dec 30 to a warm and sunny HH (for a 6-month stay, to begin with) from a dark and gloomy Sweden and really looking forward to a kick-start with New Years Eve! Neither me nor my Thai girlfriend is especially familiar with HH night life even if we´ve been there a number of times before. So my question is simply: What is your best suggestions for a great 2008 New Years party/event in Hua Hin? Where do most of the expats meet, where do the locals go and what is the best place with a mixed crowd?
