Do you know if it will be ready in 2006 or 3006? Wink

Welcome to the board anyway! Cheers

This is a good place to own a house property values continue to skyrocket.

We do have a cronic water shortage problem however.

Can we stick to English please ...

Thanks.

We are considering multilingual forums here if there is enough demand for it and we can get the moderators.

No wonder she started speaking Swedish, I thought one of the things that this forum did was welcome people on board, not react with a comment like "will that be 2006 or 3006".

I was commenting ruefully from bitter personal experience. And I'm not alone - delays in project delivery seem to be the norm rather than the exception.

Read the second line of my reply to Scorpiolady and you'll realise that there is no need to stir shit that isn't there!

Talk about a sense of humour bypass! Rolling Eyes

To Scorpiolady - I hope you didn't find my reply too flippant - apologies if you did but please take on board its good intentions.

Don't worry Limey. There's so many swedes in HH so I think she don't need to use english other than in this forum.
I guess there are more swedes than brits here.

Sorry Jamie, I knew excactly what you meant with your comment, because our house was 7 months behind schedule, in fact, it is just about ready now.
All I meant was because the lady was new to the forum, perhaps we should let her down gently, there was no malice intended. Cheers

Thanks norseman.

Jamies reply was well justified.

I know so many people out here who have had major delays on their houses.

I also know of some who have paid large sums of money only to find the builders have vanished.

But its not only getting your house built that is the problem, many people find when finished the quality is sub standard.

Mike.
