This does seem to be becoming the new late nite pickup joint. All depends on your alcohol consumption and strength of beer glasses on what you 'pick up' though |

|

Hello, I will be back next week to Hua-Hin !!
I hope to enjoy also a little bit of the nightlife.
Which places are actually recommended for long-term drinkers?
I dont like to finish allways at 0200AM.
Greetings from Switzerland

have a look at our rating system for the bars:
http://www.huahinafterdark.com/bars.htm
there are a few regular late night ones:
London Lounge, Club 99, Nice n Easy, Celtic and Nancys are among a few. Other bars do stay late dependant on how many customers they have. |

Some of your ratings are quite funny. Either you don't go out that much yourself or ..... something else. Last time I was around (maybe 3-4 months ago), most of the "girls" at the Ship were actually "guys". Celtic's girls were waiting for their boyfriends to return from their respective countries, Nung Bar has never had girls and the list goes on. How often do you actually dp check ups? Are you a bar owner yourself?
Your idea of having this forum is excellent though, so don't take this as criticism, which it of course is. Just curious how you do your ratings? |

Appreciate your feed back and welcome to the board, I'll try to answer all your questions:
The Ship has been taken over and there are now at least four nice looking girls working there so the rating went up (yes 4 months ago it was a katoey fest in there)
Celtic always has girls every night of the week and they're always there until late so it gets ratings for consistency (just because they have BFs doesnt mean they wont go with you )
Nung bar never has girls, true. this one i'll have to revise.
Not a bar owner (that would be bias) but am in town 'researching' at least twice a week. Either myself or 'trusted appointed researchers'
Hope thats cleared a few things up, and dont worry about criticism ... I need it |

This is a very good forum for us and those who visit HH. It's up to us to help to keep Lev updated. I'm sure all kinds of comments and info about changes will be appreciated. _________________ 知彼知己, 胜乃不殆; 知天知地, 胜乃可全

Yeah, I'm thinking of adding a feedback category where people can post their opinions of bars and propose ratings (after all what kind of system would be based on one/two peoples ideas?).
As much as I'd like to spend my entire life in various bars on my journey to oblivion, sampling beer and women I can't. So any feedback from board members is much appreciated |

YES, I agree to the celtic-girls. They are just waiting for their boyfriends from other countries. What a bar and what a feeling but no fun !!!

It really is a pity about Celtic bar girls. Nice location, bar, pool, prices OK and Tony, the owner really is a nice guy. But, alas, as there are no girls for the general consumption many of us living here never go there. Perhaps the tourists are all the business they need.
This general rating of the bars by the punters is an excellent idea!

|
|
Hi
just joined was considering coming to Hua Hin as a freind of mine has just moved there a few months ago and now I find the place is barren of what thailand is famous for. The idea of going to a bar with only three girls and then having to share them with all the locals ( no offense guys) is some what depressing.
Please tell me that there are some places nearby where one can drain the dirty water level without buying the place.
Regards Richard |

| I agree will the Hilton comments. I was in HH just over a week ago and went there most nights, but don’t expect much action until after midnight. The only draw back I found was that occasionally it can get rather full of the "not so pretty" girls. |
