Hi anybody know of good download software?

I used to use Limewire but cautiously deleted it and it's files after doing so. However, twice I've been hit by corruptions which I can only attribute to Limewire.

Tried bittorrent but it's selection is a fraction of Limewire

Any help would be appreciated

Can get all you want with torrents, this client is spyware free and works well:

Just need to know where to look for stuff ... mininova.org has a fair bit.

Standard BitTorrent port is 6881.
You have to check what port number you are using. Make a NAT / Firewall test to see if your port works or not.

If you use port no. 6880 you have to change it because that port is reserved for your pc.

Shouldnt need to mess with that Norse, his ISP may have blocked torrent ports though - many of them do.

richard, when you search for torrents make sure you download ones with plenty of seeders, they'll usually come through no problem.
