Just wondering if you can rent a Motorbike for a few weeks to tour down the coast from Huahin
Looking for a tourer style bike for laid back riding in september
or should I look for one in Bangkok and ride down?
Have rented one in phuket but they did not allow you to leave the island

Maximus, you can rent larger bikes from HH. At the crossroads for Hilton, Police station , Night market or beach head towards the beach and just on the left you'll se some big bikes. He has,or had, some 400 4s a few shadow 400-600 and a magnum750 v4. I took the Magnum for 10 days and got it down to a grand a day. Some really nice runs once you get to Chumphon where I live. If you want a few routes let me know. I just got a Rocket 3 so have checked out lots of runs. If you just want to plod about take a look at the place next to the Wat at the of soi Bintabat. You can pick up a Honda Phantom 200cc for about 250-300 a day. I bought one when i returned to Thailand and its taken me and the wife all over Thailand. The wife now rides it when we go on a road trip. Stay upright.
