Hello,

My Name is Soy
I live in Paris (France)
I came several time in Hua Hin for Holidays.

Maybe this forum is a (3rd) chance for me to get contact back with my lost friend ...

Last holidays, i met a hostess working in a Karaoke (Don't remenber the name. Just few meters before HH Gran Hotel Plaza, after the small ATM cash ...)

Miss her so much ... Last time, i was still in Phuket, so i came back and succeeded to see her a second time before going back home. Now, have to wait few months for next holidays ...

So happy, so stupid, i forgot to get her phone number a second time ... Just know her name ...
Sad
No way to ensure she will be here when i'll come back ...

Does anyone know the the name of the karaoke i'm talking about ?
Maybe with the name, i could call there and ask for her ...

Last night I was in a Kaoroke bar in Luxembourg doing a re-enactment of the twist competition from "Pulp Fiction" with two Finnish barmaids; if anyone knows where my hotel is, please send me a PM.

Hello Rosso,

I will never forget neither (the pub and my lost friend) ...
Rolling Eyes

It was the only place i went in Hua Hin, but i didn't succeed to find same kind of place elsewhere (Phuket, Pattaya, Rayong, Bangkok, ...) Confused

What i loved there :

- Intimacy for discussing, tenderness Wink ...
- Price not excessive (you can bring your own whisky bottle) Cheers
- No pressure for big alcohol consumption
- Cute, Very friendly and fun hostesses (When you say you're a thai person, so not a "rich farang", it helps knowing real motivation Wink ...)

- And of course Karaoke, where your hostess can sing you a beautiful love song ... Very Happy

If someone can help with the reference of this pub, i am really interested ...

Sorry, edited one part of your post. Please no reference to these acts on the public forum. Thanks - DawnHHDRC

Was this the song you sang to her

I met her in a club down in old Hua Hin
Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry-cola
C-o-l-a cola
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance
I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said lola
L-o-l-a lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola

Well Im not the worlds most physical guy
But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine
Oh my lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Well Im not dumb but I cant understand
Why she walked like a woman and talked like a man
Oh my lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola

Well we drank champagne and danced all night
Under electric candlelight
She picked me up and sat me on her knee
And said dear boy wont you come home with me
Well Im not the worlds most passionate guy
But when I looked in her eyes well I almost fell for my lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola

I pushed her away
I walked to the door
I fell to the floor
I got down on my knees
Then I looked at her and she at me

Well thats the way that I want it to stay
And I always want it to be that way for my lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Girls will be boys and boys will be girls
Its a mixed up muddled up shook up world except for lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo lola

Well I left home just a week before
And Id never ever kissed a woman before
But lola smiled and took me by the hand
And said dear boy Im gonna make you a man

Well Im not the worlds most masculine man
But I know what I am and Im glad Im a man
And so is lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola

Bonjour Soy,

I'm not sure where you mean. In the main street (Petchakasem Rd.)?
There, a few meters before the Grand Night Plaza would be the San Paolo hospital if you are coming from the city centre.

Or do you mean towards Grand hotel?
There you have the Stepz disco and Coyote karaoke. But it's not exactly a quiet place.

I'm living just up the street. Send me a message with some more clues, and I will find it for you. I probably pass it every time I go out for shopping.

I understand your feeling. I had it myself a few years back, it can be tough. But now she's living here with me, we've been together now for more than two years. And against all odds, it seems to last.

Good luck.

Yes especially the lines

Well Im not dumb but I cant understand
Why she walked like a woman and talked like a man

AND

Girls will be boys and boys will be girls

It got me thinking if Monsiuer actually was aware of what he had met that night.

Jaime, I was having a couple of beers when they said that they wanted to go to a Karaoke joint after the bar closed; being fearful of their safety, I offered to accompany them!
