peelpaul,
I've looked at their website http://www.mahan.aero/as suggested by The understudy.
My first impressions are that they certainly advertise a cheap (299 pounds return) service; and they fly from what is a fairly local airport to me (Birmingham). Time in Tehran is not too bad at 3 hours outbound and 2 hours 20 minutes on the return journey.
I would certainly be very interested in hearing your views on the airline when you return from Thailand. _________________ Green Army position 21

Just pray the "liberating coalition alliance" of UK and USA dont invade them while you are supposed to be flying with them

We are also going with Mahan Air in December. My brother-in-law has travelled and said they are OK but alchol is not served. We are going via Teheran were the rest of my husbands family will be getting on. The cheapest price I could get was 700 pounds but managed to get flights on Mahan Air for 299 pounds. I was very happy
