Hej Allihop! Jag har hus i Hua Hin och är svensk. Jag ska dit 18 juni med min yngsta son som är 19, vi stannar till 13 juli. Nu undrar jag om det finns någon träffpunkt i Hua Hin där man kan träffa andra svenskar som har hus i Hua Hin. Vore kul att höra andras erfarenheter om husbygge och ta en öl ihop Smile

Foruten engelskmenn så utgjør svensker majoriteten av utlendinger i Hua Hin.
Jeg tror ikke du vil ha noen vanskeligheter med å treffe dine landsmenn her nede, uansett hvor du bor.

Ja det förstår jag att det är svenskar lite överallt. Men vad jag undrade över är om det finns något speciellt ställe pub,restaurang etc. där mer bofasta och folk som har hus och åker ner då och då brukar hänga på om du förstår vad jag menar. Om du inte känner till något sånt ställe så kanske engelsmän har något speciellt ställe går bra det med Smile

Jeg forstår utmerket godt hva du mener, men det er ingen slike expat steder i Hua Hin. Sjansen er imidlertid stor for at du vil treffe mange Skandinaver i Mai Tai, Jailhouse, Cheers Bar, Siam Restaurant, Bamboo Grove + mange andre steder som har Skandinaviske eiere.

Så har man jo alltid Sweden Restaurant (der t.o.m. de dyktige, vakre og velkledde serveringsdamene pratar lite svenska og serverer köttbullar), og Mårtenssons Kök rundt hjörnet, men det er kanskje mer turister enn fastboende som går på disse restaurantene.
