I've just arrived 1 1/2 months ago, and have been wondering whether the expats in Hua Hin meet regularly for a glass of beer or 2..

Will anyone be interested if we organise a date in a bar or somewhere, where we can meet and give newcomers some opportunity to get to know you all? Rolling Eyes

As a new member I have never had the pleasure of attending a HHAD bash. ( seen the photo's though ). Count me in. Be good to mingle... soberly of course. Cheers

I appreciate the clarification and also want to clarify my post.

Because this comment was made in this forum in the context of an (official???) "HHAD bash" from someone who seems to have attended one. ..it carried . . .in my opinion. . . just a bit more weight than an idle comment by someone with public prejudices. . .to which I probably would not even have responded.

I have never been to an HHAD bash. I will try to attend the next bash to see how things are for myself.

I have often been curious about all my fellow "posters" as I have never met, to my knowledge, a single one of you. (Funny, I have a picture of each of you in my head. . which is probably nothing like you. Be interesting to see how close I have come.)
