Can anyone tell me if they have had Lazer eye treatment in HH and if so was it OK. I want to have this treatment but it is so expensive in UK.
The treatment I need is for varifocals. This is only just been done in UK and I am not sure if it has come to Thailand.

I have never heard of anyone having laser surgery in Hua Hin - and I doubt if it is possible to have corrective surgery done.
I know friends who have used the Rutnin Eye Hospital in Bangkok for treatment - but not for laser surgery. However there is a laser surgery department which is supposed to be pretty good. The Queen has been treated here so it must be reputable.
They are located on Soi Asoke Soi 21 off Sukhumvit Road /www.rutnin.com |

I had a look at the web page but nothing to do with eye surgery. When you had it done, how much did it cost and did you wear varifocal glasses before the operation
Thanks _________________ I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges |

My daughter had Laser treatment at the Eye Hospital near the Southern Bus Terminal befor Pink Kaow Bridge, Bangkok. Service was excellent and cost was a fraction of UK. They have all the latest procedures and seem to be even more advanced than most treatment centres in UK.
There are a number of centres in BKK and a Google search will provide the information. |

Many thanks for all the help in finding a clinic. I will be sending an email to the Lasik Centre in Bangkok for some more information.
Can anyone give me a rough price of the cost. Also has anyone had the eye surgery for varifocals as it has just recently been done in the UK

Jackie, when you get to that point, you may want to refer to the below link for price and service comparison. I don't know if Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok offers the same "super sight" facility. The doctor listed in this link is gaining quite a famous worldwide reputation for the work he does. Many farangs booking treatments from afar and doing the procedures when they get here on holiday. Good luck!. Pete
