You can find one kebab-stall in Hua-Hin's streets during the high-season, I've heard those are delicious, but be aware, unlike you have used to, those kebabs contain fish/oyster-sauce. _________________ When I get lonely and I'm sure I've had enough

Kebabs are making their come back. Tonight is a trial night as we have new bread makers and they may need some practise. These will be pork kebabs and you can find them at Old Germany on Soi Bintabaht starting around 17.30-18.00. If all goes well, it will become a regular feature. _________________ 知彼知己, 胜乃不殆; 知天知地, 胜乃可全

Yes, right. Quite right. And this is precisely the reason there are no pizza parlours London.
Nor are there any Indian, Pakistani, French nor any other sort of restaurants anywhere in UK.
Pret a Manger in Starbuck's anyone?

There's No Doener Kebab in Thailand that comes close to ones we have in Berlin, Germany. I can speak from my own expiience, had liveed my whole Childhood and Youth there and Berlin has the most people of Turkish decent Plus their children in the 2nd and 3rd Generation in Germany. If you guys got to go Berlin in the district of "Kreuzberg" and "Wedding" you will find most Turks living there. It's like Chinatown but all things in Turkish. we local "Berliners" but mostly people in that "Kiez" = neighborhood call it "Small Istanbul"
One of our Family relatives had made a study to determind to produce and sell those Kebabs in Bangkok first than upcountry. Well he had done his research and the ressult is that it would only be a Nice market food. to set up one Kebab Meat Compnay and Doener bread bakery would be so cost consuming with not many Thai's eating so it's not worth to invest.
I would love to have an authentic Turkish Doener Kebab in Hua Hin I would eat it as a snack during regular meal times or I would eat a Kebab @ the Beach with a fresh cold Chang Beer with a fresh seabreeze blowing through my Dreadlocks (I wish I could have). Hmmmmm........!!!!!!!!

Might be a moneymaking trend on the way.
There are half a dozen or more doner kebab stands in Pattaya these days, several have appeared within the past year and seem to be doing good business.
First we take Pattaya, then we take Hua Hin

| You would need to be careful about hygiene with doner kebabs in a hot climate. |

Had a couple with no probs and a friend eats them frequently in Pty with no probs.
They are well grilled and the stands have little fridges for the sauce etc so the opeator never has much of it standing around. |
