Death
On March 2, 2008 Healey died of cancer at St. Joseph's Health Centre in his home town of Toronto at the age of 41. His death came a month before the release of his new album, Mess of Blues, which would have been his first rock album in eight years.

r.i.p jeff healey, a guitar legend. Cheers

Sad news. For anyone reading this who wasn't aware of him, he was a superb guitarist specialising in blues rock, and he was completely blind. Anyone who has seen the movie 'Roadhouse' starring Patrick Swayze will have seen and heard his immense talent.

Sad! I used to watch him in bars and pubs back home before he got big. He'll be missed.

Very sad news indeed. I remember seeing him in the early 80's. He came on stage and proceeded to take a pictures of the audience, which was really cool seeing as he was blind!!
