|
|
I seem destined to be looking for things that are difficult to find or just not available in Hua Hin. .or maybe in this case even in Thailand.
Japanese lanterns ( Chinese lanterns?)
The kind that are round and made of wire and paper or silk and which fold down flat. ( Common enough back in the US.)
I have seen the red Chinese ones around at Chinese New Year time but never anything but red. And I have never seen even these for sale. ( I don't want a red light outside my house!)
Anybody? |

There is a shop over the fly over going out of town. I think its called 'Asian Living' or something similar, they have some lantern type things hanging outside in the trees. I don't know if they sell them inside though. It may be worth checking out....? _________________ Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly!

I have just been out that way again and the ones they have outside are rather big, about 2 and a 1/2 foot long i'd say. They may have some smaller one's inside... _________________ Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly!

| Wow. I am impressed. The link brings up their showroom and an online catalog! I will have to stop in today and see if they indeed have what I want. Though I see mostly furniture and decorative items on the website. Thanks! |
