lockwood74,
It's quite easy, the hard bit is getting your photo hosted somewhere on the net first, and I find that jpegs work best. Once your photo is hosted somewhere, click the Img button above, and then enter the URL of your image, followed again by clicking the Img button. Try Preview before you post, just in case it hasn't worked.
Full explanations can be found by clicking on FAQ at the top of the page. _________________ Green Army position 22

Good question - don't really know Its just one of those phrases everybody uses.
I think it stands for Uniform Resource Locator, but not 100% sure. Basically, its the address that you use to locate any web page. _________________ Green Army position 22

Absolutely correct, BB !
URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator and is used as add to indicate the virtual location of a website, picture, movie, document etc.
In case of putting a pic into a message, I'd suggest to open the pic you want to add.
There, where ordinarily is written "http://www......." you'll see now i.e. "D:\pic_......" in the url-address-line.
Just copy this address and paste it into your message.
It should work!

You need to have the pic stored online somewhere, www.flickr.com offer free accounts for image storage.
HHAD doesnt allow members to upload images for moderation and bandwidth purposes.

sargeant,
With knowledge like that, you're one of the few people I know who would be likely to pass the UK Citizen Test - there aren't many of us Brits as well educated as you _________________ Green Army position 22

Sarge,
Must admit that that comment blew my mind. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to translate some of your postings.
Maybe you could submit a glossary of "Sarge terms" and after appropriate editing, it could become a "sticky" _________________ "I spent a lot of my money on booze, birds and fast cars - the rest I just squandered". George Best. |

| Lomu, after the last post from Sarge, I’m not sure a glossary would be enough; you might need to think about a separate language section! |
