| Has the tsunami affected the tourist trade in Hua Hin and are more tourists booking as an alternative to the previously more popular southern resorts. Hope not it could spoil it. |

The thing is, cat, that town will always be limited, tourist wise, by the amount of accomodation available.
Whilst the number of hotels/guest houses is increasing, there will always be a finite number of tourists who can visit.
Unless, of course, they choose to sleep on the beach  |

You folks down there may just see that this coming high season if visitors can find a waterfall or stream to bathe in. The water problem is so bad here in Pattaya that many are saying there will be no high season unless water resources can be found. Rumor has it that some hotels already have plans to close...no clean water....no guests. Pete |
