I first stumbeld in through the Hua Hin After Dark website Through the Observers Website in 2003 right during my study years @ Stamford Univ. and signed myself in this forum. I personally like HHAD Site very much as it complies almost all Information you have to know about Hua Hin and beyond. it give an unbias infromation about the Nightlife Enterainment, Hotel Accomadations, Property & Housing and real life in Hua Hin. HHAD is made by Expats for Expats as well as locals. My absolute favorite is the Map Section. It very detailed and shows almost every housing devellopment there is. It is compiled and Illustrated by the revereed Mr. Hannes W. from Hua Hin Pasta Factory. Among the places is missng on the Maps. is Stamford University and and Palm Hills Golf Club. Now I'm trying with my selected posts hee in this Forum to catch up waht I
've should have done three years ago when I signded in!!!

Funny how some old topics re-appear like this. I am sure I have answered this before and I cannot vote which implies I have done already. Anyway the way I found it could be unique in Internet history and may be worth recording for posterity (pun intended).
I was taking a piss in the Phoenix bar shortly after it opened. It was my local in those days and had only just opened.
On the top of the urinal was a business card. After a number of direct hits I still failed to dislodge it.
Out of sheer curiosity I picked it up and read it. It was an HHAD card. I checked it out then chucked the urine stained card in the bin (for hygene reasons of course) but remembered the address mainly becuase it was exact, to the point and contained no underbars and hyphens and it was .com
My focus from then on was more on bar ratings than the forum and have only used the forum to write since I had ADSL installed less than two years ago.
I see the Urinal ad technique is now still used although it is now A5 size and urine proof. I even get some Northtern bloke (I mean right up north even further than Chang Mai) come and stick it up for me. (The flyer that is). _________________

I was in a hotel in Pattaya that had a mirror over the bed. A hologram kept appearing with HHAD and an internet address on it as you moved up and down. Pete |
