That would be NEW Jersey, dear...LOL. I'm still learning about the relationship between USA named towns/cites and EU cities of the same name. There are hundreds, especially on the eastern seaboard of the USA. Yesterday I heard that Bayonne, New Jersey is actually named after the French city of Bayonne. Since a kid I always thought that was an Italian word for a place, possibly because it was an Italian enclave for a long time. Live and learn, it never stops and that's good. Pete |

I know it's New Jersey, Pete. But the film is called "Jersey Girl", not New Jersey girl!! _________________ "The question is not, can they reason? Nor, can they talk? But, can they suffer?" - Jeremy Bentham, philosopher, 1748-1832

If you want to be authentic, you have to use the local dialect and accent, which would make it 'Jouysey Goil'...LOL but true. Pete |
