Sorry HHAD, not sure where to post this...I just sat down to watch my all time fave movie...."Hannibal" Lecter, waiting for that perfect ending when Hannibal slices pieces of the cop's cranium into the saute pan...waiting..waiting...only to see UBC/True fuzz out his brain, and I counldn't see anything...grrrrrrrrr.. I understand Thailand's aim at censorism to a point, but come on..that was the highlight of the movie. Do they think this will entice Thais to drug someone and heat up the frying pan???

The powers that be seem to enjoy treating the whole population like a kindergarten - hence the stupid censorship decisions.

Another example is the way they hide the cigarettes away now with the notion that if that stupid population can't see them they wont smoke them. It will come with liquor next.

Nothing wrong with pictures of people with machetes sticking out of them on the front of the national papers however . Glorified mafia violence movies seem to be ok also .If they are doing it with liqor as well then how would they cope with eastenders or corrie (PLEASE NO !!!)

The weird thing is Ive seen full frontals more than once on Thai Tv at 9 in the morning.
