Where is there a place in Hua Hin to buy sheets of plywood and wood? I was driving around today looking and can't ever remembering seen somewhere. Appreciate it.

Not surprised that you have not seen anywhere. That because there arn't many here. Surprising really considring that this is probably the largest building site on the peninsular.

Anyway the ones I have used are.

Patchakasem Road. Go north towards Cha-am and just afte the road turns into a dual carrriageway you will see one on the left. This has the best selection of lumber but I am not sure about plywood.

Tawon 5.

Go up the road towards Pala U. On the right you will see a small wood yard that realy specialise in joinery, however the do stock other lumber.

Futher along the same road opposite the Pheonix Bar you will find also on the right hand side a general builders merchant that has a reasonable stock of ply.

I found though that in many cases to get lumber it involved a trip to Pran Buri. Merchants usually deliver for free if you spend enough money.
