BM is a great facility, but the course needs a few adjustments - tee positions etc to give it more wow factor.

Lake View 14 year at 200k
Springfield - 15 year at 300k, lifetime at 450-500k
Palm Hills - 150K 15 year
Majestic - no idea but i have heard that the are not very welcoming to falang.
BM - 43 million baht gets you 4 memberships and a free big house! Great deal or what?

In my opinion take a Springfield and a Lake View.

Happy golfing.

Cheers,
JW

I just bought a lifetime family membership for Springfield through the Golf Exchange Centre in Bangkok for 370,000 Baht earlier this month.

The dealer informed me that Lake View memberships are very scarce at the moment. He was also finding it difficult to sell Palm Hill memberships due to the pay per round policy that is enforced for members who don't own homes on the course.

Majestic Creek were currently not allowing foreigners to buy memberships.

I just got membership to Lake View through 2023 for 215k. Annual maintenance is 10k which includes all your golf just 250 caddy fee per round. Palm Hills is charging 14k maintenance per year for residents only, if not 400 per round plus the 250 caddy.

In addition be careful about transfer charges I heard Springfield is 100k, Palm Hills is 50k, Lake view was all in for me, not sure if ricardo had to pay this on top or if it was included.

No such thing here as Golf club inspired competitions as far as I am aware.

Black Mountain is a great course and will improve over time.

2 complaints ... a lot of the caddies are new to the job and are still learning. A note on the club notice board actually apologises for this.

If you hire a buggy the caddy has to drive it. So if you play as a 4 ball you have to have 4 buggies! A rip off IMO.

Condoking is correct there is a 100,000 baht transfer fee which is paid by the seller at Springfield.

The only thing not included in the B370,000 are the annual subscriptions of 11,200 for myself and the missus. Single player its only around B9000.

However we are not allowed to play as members until our cards come through hopefully in mid December (6 weeks). When I bought my Lake View membership through the same Golf Exchange dealer, I was allowed to play as a member by showing the receipt.

the price is OK for the membership. reason for this is that the seller has to pay the 100k ( the dealer) before this can be transfered..
