I agree, as I presume does every one else. I thought that it didn't really warrant a reply, but on balance you are probably right to put your thoughts on the forum. |

| I have to say I took that post as a (bad) joke, because of the troll icon at the end - I don't think for one moment Kilbrnie is making a genuine suggestion. |

I have to admit that I don't really understand what a "troll" is.
If it's to post loads of rubbish, what the hell do they actually hope to achieve and what do they get out of it? |

Governor,
A troll (according to Wikipedia) is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion. Kilbrnie thinks that lippy is a troll, although his posts don't really fit the definition, as lippy started the thread, and has continued responding. He isn't baiting in the sense the definition means, although there is always the possibility that the problem isn't genuine and it is just attention seeking, or interest in how others respond, which I guess is a sort of troll like activity. In fact Kilbrnie has acted more like a troll on this thread, so maybe there was some ironic humour in his use of 'Don't feed the troll'? |

Well, if the idea was to get an emotional response it worked on me.
There is a limit to what constitutes "controversial" behavior vs. unacceptable behavior.
Kilbirnie's post should not be tolerated or excused, period. |

I am with you on this, absolutely. Whenever good advise is not Politically Correct one should ignore the
advise and feel Properly Indignant over the lack of PCness. This way one would forever be in the sheet,
but one would be in the sheet in a Politically Correct manner.
I think that whenever the lease of a known neurotic Thai prostitute is transferred from one wimp sin cojones to his likewise
balless and likewise clueless friend, the non-controversial behaviour constitutes of knifing, tantrums, blackmail and arson.
Edit: forgot the knifing, sorry.
Very, very Politically Correct, innit? _________________ Your ad here!

| Advocating beating up, humiliating and raping woman is nothing to do with political correctness or non political correctness. |

Thanks for the feedback.
The post by Kilbirnie I take in the chin! If my situation was that simple I would never have come onto this site for advice. The fact that I m in the Uk, she lives in my house, invested 2 yrs of life in me, finacially dependant on me, not worked, and now has the visa makes the situation complex. There is no way she would walk without a fight or some form of compensation. If I didnt have the house I would have walked months ago. This is my own mess that I have created so I have to make the best decision I can to resolve the matter.
The 300K B for the car I can live with. My main priority was to resolve this amically so I can move on with my life. Also damage limitation.
As for the visa issue. Well the posting by Randy about her turning up in the UK only to find out she has been denied access is a situation that I would nt wish on anyone and obviously would have major implications on me and the house. So any decision I made I would tell her.
For me personally the posting by Wanderlust does stand up. Ok there s a risk in this appraoch but this is the way I see it.
1. She keeps the visa on the provisal that she leave me alone. I tell her that any monkey business wont be tolerated and withdrawal of her visa will be carried out if she plays up. Hopefully by doing this I get the advantage. Im 90% sure that if she did come to the UK that she would nt
attract any attention. If she did I would have to say that I did inform the authorities pleading ignorance. Also it would nt be in her interest to attract attention would it????? So this option does stand up!
2. HOPEFULLY?? both sides benefit. She gets the visa and I safeguard the house and my safety.
3. The disadvantages being: A. Im not really her sponsor B Her visa would/ may have implications for me on future applications with a new GF. She could go AWOL in the UK but my gut feeling is that she would nt. Overall I think I can live with this for One yr.
Finally I would just like to thank everyone who has responded to this post. This has been a stressfull time for me and the support/ advice that I have received has been most welcoming. Being in the UK you are isolated. Can you really turn to family and friends in the UK? Do they understand the complexity of Thai life and culture? Its not easy. This site and advice received has given me some form of direction and strategy to resolve the situation. I feel that I have almost acomplished my objective of resolving this matter. I have learnt from this experience and can move on. Hopefully I want make the same mistake twice if you can call it that, but I guess nothing is guaranteed in life!
Time will Tell!
Many Thanks |

Personally I would let her into the UK with you. Get her to let you sell the house.
Once the house is sold and you have the money in your bank account where she cannot get her hands on it, ring the UK immigration and tell them that she has defaulted in someway on her visa and then let them kick her out of the UK.
That way house is sold, you get to keep all the money, and there is no way will she ever get back into the UK.

Dear Cowtown Comedy
"I am a businesswoman and I never worked in a bar" gets you a better bargain with the full-bellied white farang than if she or it says otherwise. |

I am really confused now. You're afraid to talk to real women, but they've talked to you a zillion times
obviously we have to take everything you say with a pinch of salt. _________________ Green Army position 18
