I do not know anyone had post this before but i am freaking turn off by 1 particular golf course which i am a member. I was told that i need to pay for the shuttle service even when no freaking soul takes the transport accept me everyday in this low season. This guy from the management approach me & pointed out at me to the whole world that i would not be allowed to take the transport if i did not pay. I don't hear it from all the other golf course accpet for the PARTICULAR ONE! Anyone encounter this shit before?

If they say the shuttle is not free then you have to pay even if you are the only person on it. That is their rule. I guess you have two options, pay up and shut up or if you do not want to pay vote with your feet and leave the club. They are entitled to make their own rules and if you play there and are a member it is not unreasonable for them to expect you to abide by them just like the mods/admin expect us all to abide by the rules of this forum. You cannot just pick and chose which rules you like and those you do not like it is all or nothing.
I am not saying that I agree with the pay rule but it is their club and members should abide by club rules.

Kraka, Thanks for your opinion but i rules are rules & i read the by-laws, nothing in it states that we are not able to hitch a shuttle ride.
I do not want to reveal the club's name, at least for now.
Thanks & Regards

Well if that is the case I would take it up with the management or the commitee then.
Good luck.

| Good reply Adrian, do not name anyone in a case like this. But was it really your golf club who told you that you are entitled to free shuttle? It should not be in their interest to provide this service for members – but for green fee players it is understandable as they then do not have to pay commissions to agents providing free transportation. |
