Hi Richard, Pretty much all the bars have some expats in, but in my experience I think you'll find there are not many long termers that go into the center of town. In my case it all gets a bit much after a while. Many tend to seek solace in small out of town bars where it is quieter and less touristy. There are many of these around. I personally drink in one such bar called the Phoenix. No (v.v.few) tourists venture there as its about 3kms out of town. That said because of the many new estates being built is bar gets fairly busy all year round. _________________ Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly!

Hi Richard, its 3 years since I left HuaHin, but can vouch for Billys Bar as a starter. Theres been a lot of discussion about it on another link recently, and he does seem to attract largely expat customers. Always had a good afternoon trade as well, which was something that used to be lacking in HH.  |
